Our Aim

Our aim is to give every student a high quality education. To help achieve our aim we take the principles of the home-school partnership and extend them into other areas to develop links with other schools, businesses and the local community. More than one hundred and fifty businesses assist us to provide valuable work experience for year 11. Also in Year 11, students undergo an interview and receive feedback from a professional employer and this has proved to be highly popular.

Partners

As a Sports College we assist four primary and two secondary partners to offer very good quality P.E. and Sport. We are also a hub site for the School Sports Coordinator scheme which gives us common aims and a close working relationship with a further twenty-nine schools.

• Work with primary partners to bridge between Key Stages 2 and 3 and ensure a smooth transition of students into secondary education
• Provide rich and diverse opportunities in career guidance, leadership, coaching and officiating
• Generate a strong desire to learn
